To The Editor: Why would the global pharmaceutical companies begin (yes begin!) clinical trials in Europe and the U.S. by the hundreds of sites? And, why would they be exchanging ideas of combining 38 different drugs with or without...

RE: Link
Meleah Allard: "Iâ??m... the leader of a ministry whose mission is to help those choosing to overcome homosexuality... and yet not insult and degrade them... Those signs were not kind. I beg forgiveness for the ugliness of a few."
Overcome homosexuality?! As if it is a disease or addiction? Meleah, you and the sign carriers are peas in the same hateful pod. The only difference is that they choose not to cloak themselves in the costume of a loving christian. They could not exist if it weren't for polite bigots like you.

Being a homosexual is a defect. I don't know if it can be overcome.

She probably should have said "overcome the SIN of homosexuality."

Overcome the SIN of homosexuality?????????
Who is going to help you overcome the SIN of judgment? Who is going to help you overcome the SIN of narrowmindness? Who is going to help you overcome the SIN that because you are a so called Christian it is "OK" for you to have simply because you can "ask for forgiveness"? I really get sick and tired of these so called Christians pointing fingers and calling everything a sin when they should be aware of the fact that when you point a finger at something there are three fingers pointing at them!

We live in a day of perverted thinking, perverted religion and perverted sex. To some, God is love and that's all. Their god never judges anyone, never condemns anyone and never has a harsh word to say about anyone. The god they believe in is tolerant or anything and everything, except intolerance; their god draws the line there. But, the Bible tells a different story. If they would bother to read the entire Bible, and not just the parts that make them feel good, they would learn that the God of the Bible is a God of judgement. And the preachers and other men at the Apple Festival were trying to warn anyone that would listen of that judgement.

I have a neighbor who insists on working on the Sabbath. Exodus 35:2 clearly states he should be put to death. Am I morally obligated to kill him myself?

I wasn't passing judgement on anyone. I was simply stating that homosexuality is a sin. Killing is a sin. Adultry is a sin. Sin is sin and we may as well call it by it's right name.
Stealing is a sin. If I came over to your house and took what was yours, YOU would be the first one to say it was a sin. If some gayperson approached your son/daughter for sex You would be the first one crying sin.

There are more important things to concern ourselves with than someone's sexual orientation as it relates to two consenting adults.
