Government

Henderson County Board of Social Services will meet at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Social Services boardroom of the Human Services Building.

Flat Rock Board of Adjustment will meet at 3 p.m. Tuesday at Flat Rock Village Hall.

Mills River Parks and Recreation Development Advisory Committee will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Mills River Town Hall.

Polk County Board of Commissioners will meet at 7 p.m. Monday at the R. Jay Foster Hall of Justice, Womack Building.

Transylvania County Board of Education will meet at 6:30 p.m. Monday at Morris Education Center.

Brevard City Council will meet at 7 p.m. Monday at City Council chambers.

Performances

John Fowler will perform at 2 p.m. Sunday, July 27, at the Cradle of Forestry in Pisgah National Forest. Information: 877-3130.

The Bullington Center will conduct tours and have an open house from 9 a.m. to noon Friday. Information: 698-6104.
