What: Evening strolls at the WNC Nature Center
When: Wednesdays July 23 and 30 from 1 to 8 p.m.
Where: 75 Gashes Creek Road, Asheville.
Details: The wise ole owl suggests visiting the wildlife in the latter part of the day when the temperatures begin to wane. The program includes live animal presentations and family games after 5 p.m. and a special evening presentation, “An Evening in the Garden with Plants and Creatures,” skillfully designed and performed by Peter Loewer at 6:30 p.m. — a must see for the whole family.
